How do I save my design?

When you come back to the build after designing a set, you should be asked to pick up where you left off. To be extra careful, you can save the url as your design is saved there.

What are the coasters made of?

Topograffs are 3D-printed out of PLA (a corn-based plastic) with real topographic contour lines, a tempered glass top, and a laser-engraved natural cork bottom.

How do I clean them?

Hand wash only! Use lukewarm (not hot) water, a gentle dish soap and a soft bristled toothbrush for best results. The tempered glass top unscrews from the base to access the terrain. If needed, you can pop the glass out completely. Avoid submerging the coaster and cork in water. The cork bottom and 3D-printed body are not waterproof.

Can I choose any location?

Yes, the builder uses real elevation data that covers most of the world. Very flat areas will not look great due to very noticable elevation lines. Very wide areas may need smoothing due to the steepness of the stretched mountains. Select a region with mountains for best results.

How long does shipping take?

Each set is made to order. Production takes 1-2 weeks depending on how many orders are in front of you, then shipping in the US is around 3–5 days.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet, let me know if you wish I did so I know if there's interest.

Can I order just one coaster?

I currently sell sets of 4. Each coaster in the set can feature a different location, so you can mix and match your favorite places.

What if I need help designing my set?

I'm happy to help. Send me a message on Etsy with the locations you have in mind and I'll put together a preview for you.

Can I return or exchange my set?

Since each set is custom-made, I can't accept returns for the most part. However, if your order arrives damaged or defective, I'll replace it. Reach out within 30 days of purchase.
